The Role
As a Business Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of supporting and managing software solutions that directly impact our clients' law enforcement mission. You'll work with dedicated team members and clients to support and manage large system development projects and solve complex technical problems that keep our country safe and secure.

Technical Skills Required
· Requirements Management Tools: Intermediate to advanced experience using JIRA and Confluence to manage, track, and document requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
· Agile Development Methodologies: Basic to intermediate understanding of agile development methodologies to translate business requirements into user stories, epics, and tasks for technical and development teams.
· Process Flow and System Diagramming: Basic to intermediate understanding of creating process flow diagrams and system architecture diagrams using tools like Visio or PowerPoint.
· Microsoft Office Suite: Intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint, for documentation, analysis, and collaboration.
· Application Lifecycle Management: Basic understanding of application lifecycle management architecture and oversight to provide technical support and recommendations for IT solutions.
· Clear & Effective Communication: Superior oral communication skills for speed, clarity, and understanding, particularly in client discussions. Strong writing skills that showcase clear and well-reasoned thought processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Document and translate business requirements into agile development methodology formats to support technical and development teams.
• Serve as a conduit between the business unit and technical teams for translating requirements into solutions.
• Assist the Government Program/Project Manager and Product Owner in clarifying the requirements, deliverables, schedule, and milestones for the various program/project components.
• Document business requirements into agile development methodology formats, including epics, user stories, and tasks • Support the business architect in documenting business process flows and rules.
• Support the change management of business requirements and impact analysis
• Lead the validation of requirements to ensure they are complete, traceable, and testable. • Manage the requirements baseline and support the change control process
• Elicit requirements from the business unit, which include facilitating working sessions with various stakeholders and support teams.
• Analyze requirements to identify consequences and opportunities for efficiencies.
Requirements
· US Citizenship (ability to obtain and maintain a DHS 6C Public Trust clearance)
· Bachelor's degree or higher (computer science background recommended but not required with suitable experience)
Experience
· 5+ years of experience in IT Project and requirements management
· Experience working in a federal government environment.
