Hybrid Schedule Position
General Experience: The candidate should have demonstrated experience managing large IT projects and system implementations, preferably for Business Intelligence (BI) oriented projects. Must have knowledge of the project management lifecycle, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and managing technical resources. Must have a confident, polished demeanor and be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
Duties:• Responsible for the overall direction and management of multiple BI-oriented projects
• Provide comprehensive PMO support to multiple projects (Schedule, Risk, Financial, Acquisition, Reporting, Governance, Change Control, Quality Management, Data Call)
• Create and maintain Program or Project Schedules, to include critical milestones, dependencies, and expected delivery dates for the desired capability. Coordinate with other schedule owners to ensure updates are provided and incorporated into the Program IMS.
• Assess and report program impacts due to changes in individual project schedules
• Maintain liaison between appropriate project personnel and the client to ensure effective coordination of all project efforts
• Prepare and distribute program/project status reports
• Develop program and executive level reports, white papers, technical briefings, and presentation materials and make formal oral presentations of these materials to all levels of government personnel
• Respond to time sensitive program data calls
• Perform reviews of project and technical documentation, work products and deliverables
• Provide recommendations to management for PMO process improvements
• Facilitate client and internal team meetings
• Attend meetings, document meeting agenda/meeting minutes, and track action items
• Read and interpret Government policy, regulations, and directives
• Provide clear technical directions and guidance to all lower level personnel, as applicable
Required:• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the Program and/or Project Management field, or 4 years of experience with a Masters degree.
• 4+ years of project management experience with enterprise IT system implementations
• Experience managing technical resources
• PMO experience
• Knowledge of project management lifecycle and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust which requires U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to work core hours (9AM – 5PM)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Working experience with the following software: MS Office Suite, Microsoft Project Professional, Adobe Acrobat
Desired:• Active Public Trust Clearance
• Detailed knowledge of analytical reporting and Business Intelligence (BI)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Federal consulting experience
• 4-year university degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Management.
• Working experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud and Server Platform, Drupal, and/or SharePoint
• Experience with Portfolio Management support
• Background knowledge in Accounting or Financial Management
